How to arrive
By car to Jenesien Coming from the north: Come off the motorway at the Bozen Nord exit and carry on in the direction of Bozen over the Rentsch area of town. Follow the signs to Sarntal and Jenesien.
Switch off your Navigation system as it takes you on the old road. Turn left as soon as you’ve passed the St. Anton bridge and then right after about 200m. You are now on the road to Jenesien. Enjoy the incredible views over the Dolomites on your 15 minute journey up the hill. If you are coming from the south, take the Bozen Süd exit and follow the large, well-located signposts.
By cable car to Jenesien If you arrive in Bozen by public transport you can either get here by taxi or take the number 12 bus leaving from the bus station in Perathonerstraße – about 5 minutes walking distance from the train station – to the Bozen – Jenesien cable car station. The cable car leaves every half hour from 08.30 to 12.00 and from 3 to 6.30pm. The cable car also has an incredible panoramic view of the Dolomites.
By bus to Jenesien
You can buy a bus ticket for the 156 Jenesien bus at the bus station in Bozen. The drive to Jenesien takes about 25 minutes.
